About us
The Web Devlopers Association(WDA) promotes better standards for the web design as well as consistend development practices among web developers. We futher concerned about the careers of web developers as wel as fair and proper compensation, we recommend standards to the W3C and provide guideline for good web development practices.
We are an open group to facilitate communications between diverse professions involved in Internet/intranet design and development. Our goal is to promote and encourage dialogue between these various Web professionals and to increase the level of Web development throughout the United States.
Our association has annual meetings around the US on various topics with speakers from within the industry and from the larger computer industry in general.
Our target audience ideally consists of Webmasters, CIOs, digital artists/graphics designers, writers, artists, business people, new media designers, Web producers, systems administrators, programmers, and ISP staff.
