Recycle | We're soooo green...
For a school that averages 2 tons of paper waste each year, no one had to explain the reasons why we should recycle. Our two operating cafeterias and snack bars also sell lots of plastic bottles!
We were strategic about where to put the recycle bins. There are several plastic containers around the eating areas as opposed to others. We have also partnered with TrashTalk, an external small business, to collect the recyclables. This outsourcing decreases our waste collection costs and promotes the important ideal of using and reusing.
