lTCC uses solar energy to generate 100% of its energy needs and and donates the surplus to the local communities. They orientate their buildings to maximize the use the sun to store the heat energy during the day and heat the buildings at night with it. In addition, every building has solar pannels to harness solar enery which is in turn is converted to electrical energy. A large site at the campus has a gian sunt mirror which collects solar energy for making electricity.
