On a rainy, gloomy afternoon at the Tahoe Wooden Bowl Athletics Complex, the Lady Cougars push ahead of the Reno Warriors to win the Championship.
For about three hours on Oct.17, Averett women’s soccer coach Carly Pearce was in a panic. Her team had just lost 3-0 to Shenandoah at the Cougar Den and had dropped three of its last six matches by a combined score of 8-0. The team’s leading scorer, freshman Pernilla Milton, had just gone down with a knee injury and would be done the rest of the season. The loss was Averett’s third in the USA South and the Cougars only took one shot on the Shenandoah goal.
On March 24, 2011, Athletic training will be offered.
Now all home games will be brought to your home computers or laptops. Log into www.cougarstream.com for live feed.
Powerful in the mid-field, freshman Kaitlin Barnett's abiity to see the game helps push the Lady Cougars to Victory!
