How to get involved
The best place to begin. is your local shelter. We suggest you to visit your shelters and become famoliar with thier daily schedule as well as their regular events. Ask about any volunteer work you may be able to participate in. Please be sincere and once you join, commit yourself to excellence. Also the freinds of the National Zoo is an excellent organization to volunteer at. You get to spend time with animals, learn about them, work with other animal lovers,and usually get someperks suck as free admission to zoological parks.
